GPFA & Saddle Hills County downgrade fire ban

A pair of local fire bans have been downgraded to restrictions, thanks to recent rain.

Both the Grande Prairie Forest Area and Saddle Hills County fire bans have been downgraded, which includes Cotillion Park, Hilltop Lake, and Spring Lake.

Under the restriction, residents can have campfires or burn barrels on private land.

However, large fuel burns will not be permitted at this time.
