Margaret Edgson Manor evacuees receiving community support

Grande Prairie residents affected by the Margaret Edgson Manor are getting some relief from the community.

Until tomorrow (Friday, June 20), anyone displaced by this fire can enjoy one free Subway sandwich at any of their locations in Grande Prairie.

Residents will just need to bring an ID to prove they live at the apartment complex.

Peace Country Hot Tubs is also planning a gala and silent auction fundraiser for July 19.

Tickets will be set at $50 a person, and anyone interested in contributing to the silent auction can contact Peace Country Hot Tubs owner Dave Braun at 587-343-7430 or by visiting the store in person.

A cash run was already hosted by Peace Country Hot Tubs last week, with a goal of raising $50,000 for those displaced.
