PWHL Draft set for Tuesday, Spirit River product on top prospects list

The Professional Women’s Hockey League Draft will be held Tuesday in Ottawa.

The Hockey News has Spirit River product Dayle Ross listed as the 27th-ranked prospect in its PWHL Draft Preview.

The publication says Ross is “a powerful skater who does the little things right.”

Ross is a defender who spent the last four seasons playing NCAA hockey with St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.

The draft will start at 5 p.m. Alberta time.

The New York Sirens have the first overall pick for the second straight year in the six-round draft.
