Swan City U14 Selects take home silver at the Great Canadian Shootout

A local youth basketball team took part in the Great Canadian Shootout in Edmonton at the end of June. (June 27 – July 1)

The Swan City Rigler Law U14 selects went undefeated through their first four games before losing in the final in one of the biggest tournaments in Western Canada.

The boys still had lots to cheer about as they were competing up an age group, beating top U15 teams from both Alberta and Sasketchewan.

With the spring season now coming to an end, the boys will continue to practice throughout the month, in preparation for the National Tournament in Langley, B.C., on July 29 to August 3.
