GP local to compete at the Calgary Stampede

UPDATE:

GP Local Jennifer Neudorf currently sits in 4th in the ladies barrel racing Pool A standings after a time of 17.37.

With that finish, Neudorf has earned herself $3,250.

Anita Ellis out of Blackfoot, Idaho, currently holds the top spot in Pool A, with a run time of 16.88, which comes with a $7,000 purse.

Anyone wanting to enjoy the Stampede from home can tune into the live broadcast on Sportsnet One.

After a successful showing at the Ponoka Stampede, a local cowgirl will be taking her talents to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

Jennifer Neudorf, originally from Grande Prairie, topped the Barrel Racing aggregate with a showdown time of 17.24.

With the win, she has qualified for the Calgary Stampede.

The 10-day rodeo will kicks off today (Friday, July 4)
