Grande Prairie Chuckwagon driver ties for second at Day 2 of Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby

Chanse Vigen’s run at the 2025 Rangeland Derby at the Calgary Stampede saw him tie for second and third place.

At Day 2 of the Derby, Grande Prairie’s Vigen had a time of 1:12.31, tieing him with Jamie Laboucane, with both earning a Pay Day of $4,900.

Vigen also came in second during Day 1’s race with a time of 1:12.25 and a Pay Day of $5,200.00.

Vigen and Laboucane both came behind Obrey Motowylo, who had a time of 1:12.30, earning a Pay day of $6,000.

Rounding out Day 2’s top five are Jason Glass in fourth place, and Rae Croteau in fifth.

Chad Fike, who came in first place Day 1, has fallen to twenty first with a time of 1:14.92.

The Rangeland Derby of 2025 is scheduled to take place over 10 nights at the Calgary Stampede.
