Beaverlodge Hospital ED without a physician for 12 hours

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be disrupted overnight.

The ED will be without an onsite physician for 12 hours, from Friday, July 11 at 8 p.m., reopening at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

During the disruption, AHS’s new Virtual Physician coverage may be available.

Anyone with an emergency can still call 911 as calls will be rerouted to neighbouring facilities.
