City of Grande Prairie announces community enhancement projects

The City of Grande Prairie has announced several beautification projects to enhance public spaces.

Approved through the City’s Community Enhancement Funding, the projects will improve the look and feel of the areas while supporting practical needs.

The approved projects include:

  • Tree grove installations along 100 Street
  • Beautification of the triangle median near Bear Creek
  • Parkette upgrades at 100 Avenue and 100 Street
  • Dock and fence replacement at Ernie Radbourne Pavilion

These projects are about more than beautification. They help shape the kind of community we want to be. By investing in green corridors and shared public spaces we’re supporting quality of life, encouraging community connection and making practical improvements that benefit everyone.
