Fairview Health Complex ED reopened

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department has reopened.

The department was originally expected to be without an on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. today until 7:00 a.m. Thursday due to a lack of coverage.

However, coverage was ultimately secured and the department reopened as of 3:15 pm. Tuesday.

AHS is thanking surrounding healthcare centres and medical staff for their support and the community for their patience.
