Piranhas swimmer earns US scholarship

Another member of the Grande Prairie Piranhas has earned a scholarship to a US school.

A social media post shared by the Piranhas says Marley Monson has verbally committed to the University of Wyoming.

Monson has been a medal-winning representative for the Piranhas at several national competitions, including a relay gold and individual bronze at the 2023 Canadian Swimming Nationals.

Piranhas’ swimmers Catherine Minic, Jordan Greber, Oliver Dawson, Marissa Laurin and Lacie Robideau have also earned scholarships in recent years.
