County of Grande Prairie seeking feedback on Clairmont land development

The County of Grande Prairie is gathering feedback from Clairmont residents on land development.

An open house will be held on Tuesday, July 22, discussing a proposed amendment to the Clairmont Heights Structure Plan.

This amendment applies directly to the land located southeast of the 113 Avenue traffic circle, near the retirement home.

The current designation for that land was in place for oil wells but they have moved. The county wants feedback on a proposed amendment that would allow the space to be used for both residential and retail space.

Residents wanting to share their opinion can attend the open house on Tuesday at the Wellington Resource Centre starting at 6:30 p.m.
