County of Grande Prairie to close Range Road 63 for construction

A major road construction project in the County of Grande Prairie is set to begin next week.

Range Road 63 will be undergoing road rehabilitation work from Highway 43 to Highway 672, beginning Monday, July 28 and lasting approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

During the early days of construction, Range Road 63 will be closed from Highway 43 to Township Road 724 and Township Road 723 to Township Road 730 until July 29 and 30, respectively.

While the closures are in place, access will be granted to residents and businesses located along the affected routes only.

Following the initial closures, the road will remain under construction with single lane alternating traffic and flagging personnel for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
