Food festival taking over Muskoseepi Park Heritage Day long weekend

Jul 29, 2025 | 12:00 PM

As part of the Heritage Day Long weekend, the City of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to travel the world.

Around the World in Bites, an international food and art festival, will take place on Saturday, August 2, at Muskoseepi Park from noon to 5 p.m.

Hosted by the Grande Prairie Intercultural Association, the event was created to “celebrate the rich cultural diversity within our community through a showcase of global cuisines, traditional performances, and artistic expression.”

Food won’t be the only attraction, as residents can also take in traditional performances, live music, art, cultural exhibitions and a Kidz Corner; full of activities and amenities like bouncy castles, face painting and Lego.

To access the Kidz Corner, an entry fee of $2 is required per child.

Anyone wanting more information on the upcoming food and culture festival can visit the City’s website.
