Environment Canada is predicting the heat wave will last until the weekend, with daytime highs near 30 degrees.

Residents going outside are being reminded to watch for the signs of heat stroke; headaches, nausea, and dizziness.

They also suggest wearing light-coloured clothing and limiting your exposure to the sun.
