AHS confirms measles case at GPRH labour & delivery wing

Measles cases in Alberta continue to rise as another confirmed case was out in a public setting, while contagious.

AHS says an infectious person was at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital labour and delivery wing on Tuesday, July 22, from 12:10 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.

Now, anyone who was at the hospital’s labour and delivery wing during that time and has not received their vaccination is at risk of developing the disease.
