Final four set at Battle of the North

The four wagons that will compete in the WPCA’s Battle of the North final at the Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede have been decided.

Chanse Vigen topped the aggregate with a total running time of 4:53.18 over the first four nights, winning a one year lease of a 2025 GMC truck in the process.

Vigen will be joined in Sunday’s final by Chance Bensmiller, Obrey Motowylo and Jason Glass.

Vigen also had the fastest time on the night Saturday with a 1:12.78 clocking, the third night in a row he has had the fastest run time.

Chance Bensmiller, Glass and Kurt Bensmiller rounded out Saturday’s top four times.

The evening show at the Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede will start at 4:30 B.C. time with the Grand Entry. The All Pro and WPCA wagons races will follow.
