Crack sealing work to start in Grande Prairie Wednesday

City Hall says crack sealing will start Wednesday, Aug. 20 on various roads in around Grande Prairie.

“Crack sealing is a proactive treatment that helps preserve pavement by preventing moisture from entering and causing further damage,” says a city release

The city says this project will continue for several days depending on the weather.

The work will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. No parking signs will go up in advance.

Drivers are being asked to slow down, obey the signs and follow direction from work crews.

Single lane alternating traffic will be in place.
