Paving on 132 Avenue this weekend

City Hall says Grande Prairie drivers travelling on 132 Avenue this weekend may experience some delays.

Paving is expected to start on 132 Avenue between 103 and 116 Streets on Friday, Aug. 22 and continue until Monday, Aug. 25.

The city says the longest delays will likely happen between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Wait times could be up to half an hour.

Alternating traffic will be in place. Flag people will be there to direct traffic. Detours will be in place as needed. The speed limit will be 30 km/h.
