City of Grande Prairie celebrating Alberta Day Aug. 30
The City of Grande Prairie celebrating Alberta Day on Saturday August 30, with free recreation and heritage experiences.
To mark Alberta’s 120th anniversary, the City is offering free access to the Eastlink Centre, Keyera Place and Design Works Centre, along with a public skate with the Grande Prairie Storm at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
The City is also encouraging residents to explore local history by visiting the Grande Prairie Museum and Reverend Forbes Homestead, where admission is always free.
