GPES searching for those responsible for last week’s asphalt spill

Grande Prairie Enforcement Services is asking for the public’s help identifying who’s responsible for an asphalt spill south of Costco.

On Thursday, Aug. 28, at 8:50 a.m., Peace Officers and city crews responded to a report of asphalt falling off the back of a truck along 116 Street, between 77 and 84 Avenue and spreading across the road, creating a hazard for motorists.

Now, the person or group responsible is asked to come forward; additionally, anyone who may have witnessed this incident is also asked to contact Enforcement Services at 780-830-5790.
