Peace Regional RCMP investigating break and enter

Peace Regional RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a break-and-enter suspect.

Earlier today, (Friday, September 5), Mounties noticed evidence of a break-in at a business on 100 Street in Peace River.

After clearing the building and finding no one inside, officer obtained footage from the business showing a male suspect had broken the front glass door to the building and taken various snack and drink items before running away approximately 10 minutes before RCMP noticed the damage.

Peace Regional Forensics Identification Services has attended the scene, and RCMP are awaiting results.

The suspect is described as:

  • Light skin complexion
  • Approximately 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 10
  • Wearing a ball cap, a dark jacket, tan pants, back and white Puma-style shoes, face covering
  • Appears to have shorter, or tucked in hair, light in colour

Anyone that may have witnessed the break-in or can help identify the suspect is asked to contact Peace Regional RCMP or Crimestoppers.
