Peace River RCMP reopen part of Highway 986

Peace Regional RCMP say the road has now reopened.

Mounties say more updates will be released when more information is available.

Peace River RCMP have closed a portion of Highway 986 near Woodland Cree Nation, as they respond to a serious collision.

Emergency crews are on the scene, and an investigation is underway.

More updates are expected when the highway reopens.
