This new program is yet another example of NWP’s commitment to advanced technical education that meets the needs of our region and produces knowledgeable and skilled graduates who can add value.” –Dr. Vanessa Sheane, NWP President and CEO

The new certificate is the second program of its kind in Alberta.

“Aquatera is proud to partner with NWP to support local training that creates opportunities close to home. By developing this program here in our region, we are investing not only in skilled operators, but in the long-term strength and sustainability of our communities.” –Vaughn Bend, Aquatera Utilities CEO

As of this fall, the program can be started at any point during the year without any specific course to begin.

It will consist of student-paced online learning, in-person hands-on lectures, lab training, and 600 hours of Work Integrated Learning.
