Saddle Hills County Health Clinic could potentially close October 1

The Saddle Hills County Health Clinic could be closing in October.

Nurse Practitioner Palvi Sharma will be starting maternity leave Oct. 1, and the county has yet to find anyone to secure cover for her absence. The county says this means the clinic could be temporarily closed for up to 18 months.

At this time, patients are being advised to begin arranging care through primary care providers or alternate walk-in clinics.

Existing patients have been provided with prescription refills, where appropriate, to cover them for a reasonable period.
