Welcoming Week activities continue today (Tuesday, September 16).

A free drop-in session called Story Sharing and Coffee will start at 6 p.m. at the Francophone Association office on 111 Avenue. Organizers say this will include “coffee donuts and informal storytelling.”

The final event is set for Saturday. It will be drive-in showing of the animated movie Coco.

Anyone interested can buy a ticket here. Show time will be 7:10 p.m.

Welcoming Week is organized by the Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership and the Immigrant Advisory table.

The theme this year is “Stories We Share” one that is meant to highlight “storytelling as a way to celebrate differences, find common ground and strengthen community connections” says a release from organizers.
