Storm drop both games on opening weekend

The Storm are 0-2 after the opening weekend of the regular season.

Grande Prairie lost the season opener at home Friday, 7-4 to Whitecourt, then lost 3-2 in Whitecourt Saturday.

The announced crowd for the home opener was 1,996.

Chase Christensen and Ethan Kronewitt each scored two goals on opening weekend while Zachary Wilson had a goal and an assist.

The Storm will visit Camrose Friday and Saturday. Game times will be 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday.
