Thirteen candidates for council in Spirit River

There are 13 candidates running for the seven spots on town council in Spirit River.

The group includes five incumbents and eight newcomers. The group includes the following:

• Ryan Funk
• William Georgeson
• Garth Glassel
• Sumit Gour
• William (Bill) Jackson
• Kenneth MacFarlane
• Wayne Meyer incumbent
• Jim Nicholson incumbent
• Brent Potter
• Brenda Stanich incumbent
• James Thomas incumbent
• Jo Anne van Rootselaar
• Tammy Yaremko incumbent

Yaremko had been serving as mayor.

Two other incumbents, Harry Ezio and Denise Skoworodko, are not seeking re-election.
