Beaverlodge Hospital ED closed all day Friday

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be closed for 12 hours starting Friday, Oct. 3.

Starting at 8 a.m., the ED will be without an on-site physician; however, nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

The Virtual Emergency Physician coverage is also being piloted at the Beaverlodge Hospital, and may be available for all or part of this advisory.

Anyone with an emergency can still call 911, as calls will be rerouted to neighbouring facilities.
