Trio breaks into Beaverlodge weed store

Mounties in Beaverlodge are asking for the publics assistance in identifying break and enter suspects at a business in the community.

On Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 3:49 a.m., a trio broke into the Plain Jane Cannabis store. Video obtained by Beaverlodge RCMP revealed the suspects broke the front door glass and entered the store, where they smashed display cases and stole merchandise.

RCMP are asking if anyone has footage of the area surrounding the store between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., or can identify the people responsible for this break and enter, to please come forward and contact the Beaverlodge detachment by calling 780-354-2485.

The store owner also suggests residents checking video surveillance go as far back as 2:30 a.m., as one of their cameras was taken offline at 3:20 a.m.
