County of Grande Prairie celebrates longtime employee milestones
The County of Grande Prairie has issued its annual recognition of its long-time employees this week.
The county sent out a news release praising 49 employees for reaching various service milestones ranging from five years with the county to twenty.
“Employees are the heart of our organization,” says Joulia Whittleton, County Manager. “The loyalty and contributions of our team members are key to the county’s success and our ability to deliver excellent services to residents. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and recognize the important role they play in our community.”
“It’s amazing to think I’ve been with the county for 15 years! I began as a summer student in 2010 and have been proud to be part of the Information Systems department ever since,” says Joshua Koop, Cloud Systems Administrator, Information Systems. “The county has been a great place to work and call home. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated and talented team.”
