MD of Spirit River unofficial election results

Out of eleven candidates, five will form the new MD of Spirit River’s council until 2029.

Two incumbents that were seeking re-election did not get enough votes to stay on council, those were Elaine Garrow and Nick van Rootselaar.

The only incumbent to stay on council for this upcoming term is Tony van Rootseelar.

Newly elected councillors are:

• Evelyn Bowzy – 144
• Shelley Rozecki – 186
• Bernard Schoorlemmer – 275
• Tony van Rootseelar – 164
• Dean Wark – 225

These results remain unofficial until Friday, Oct. 24.
