RCMP investigating after human remains found in burned-out vehicle

RCMP continue to investigate after human remains were found inside a burned-out vehicle in the B.C. Peace.

Mounties in Dawson Creek say it looks like a murder.

Police were initially called out on October 13 to the 251 Road and Kiskatinaw River area

The E Division Serious Crime unit took over the investigation three days later, after the remains were found.

The vehicle is described as a 2005 Mazda 6 that may have had Alberta plates.

Anyone with information that can help in the investigation is asked to call 1-877-987-8477.
