RCMP investigating after man found badly injured in a ditch in Baldonnel

Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate after a badly injured man was found in a ditch in Baldonnel.

Mounties say that on October 16 at around 7:45 a.m., they got a report of a man lying injured in the ditch of 238 Road near 253 Road.

Police say the 37-year-old was “conscious but incoherent.”

He was taken to hospital with injuries to most of his body and was intubated for several days.

Mounties believe this was the result of an aggravated assault.
