It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shaun Robert Watson, who unexpectedly departed this life on October 17th, 2025, at the age of 63.

 

Shaun was born on January 7th, 1962, in Grande Prairie, Alberta to James and Anne Watson. Shaun is the youngest of 4 boys, and he is predeceased by both of his parents, and his brother Alison. He is survived by his two older brothers, Callen and Daryl. Shaun was a loving father to Tammy, Hayden, Jenna (Anthony), and Riley (Levi) and he was the proud grandfather to two grandchildren, Oliver and Teanna.

 

Shaun was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his children and his cat, Leia, who never left his side. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and his one-of-a-kind sense of humor.

 

A funeral service will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home on Saturday November 8th, 2025 at 1 pm. Attendees are encouraged to wear a silly t-shirt and jeans, as Shaun loved to wear.
