Nov 10, 2025 | 6:00 AM

There are two Remembrance Day ceremonies in Grande Prairie tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11).

Army Navy & Air Force Veterans of Canada Unit 389 will hold its ceremony at the cenotaph in Jubilee Park.

A parade will leave Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:45 a.m.

It will go to the cenotaph for a wreath-laying ceremony, then go back to the church.

The ANAVETS Hall at 106 Avenue and 102 Street will host a lunch after the ceremony.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch #54 will hold its ceremony at the Bonnets Energy Centre.

President Dean Langton is asking that people coming be seated by 10:30 a.m.

“The ceremony will start somewhere around twenty to eleven. At 11 o’clock, we’ll do our two minutes of silence and the rest of our program, and then, we will lay wreaths.”

There will be a gathering at the Legion after the ceremony ends.
