Nominations open for 2026 Farm Family of the Year

The County of Grande Prairie is accepting nominations for the 2026 Farm Family of the Year award.

The award celebrates farming families that have made significant agricultural contributions and represent strong values in their community.

“Behind every successful farm is a family rooted in resilience, generosity, and a deep connection to the land and those around them,” says Reeve Amanda McDonald. “This award honours those values and the people who exemplify them every day.”

The family will be formally recognized at the annual Farm Family Banquet during the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show on March 13, 2026.
