Take Back the Night rally and march November 19

An annual event to raise awareness of sexual and gender-based violence is taking place Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Grande Prairie Family Education Society (9607 102 St.).

Take Back the Night is an annual rally and march to bring people together to speak out against sexual and domestic violence and support survivors.

The event is a global initiative and has participants in over 40 countries.

The Grande Prairie event goes from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
