Wellspring Alberta launches Cancer Connect support group in Grande Prairie

An Albertan charity offering programs and support to people living with cancer is expanding their services into Grande Prairie.

Wellspring Alberta has launched Cancer Connect, a free, monthly gathering for adults suffering from or looking after people diagnosed with cancer.

Once a month, people with cancer, care givers, supporters and those recently diagnosed are invited to gather and connect in a blend of causal conversation and supportive program content focused on well-being, coping and community.

Cancer Connect meets in Grande Prairie every second Tuesday of the month at the Grande Prairie Primary Care Network.
