Day 1 of the Festival of Trees, Northern Spirit Light Show open

It is Day 1 of the Festival of Trees on Thursday, November 20.

It will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. at the TARA Centre at Evergreen Park.

The annual fundraiser for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation will continue Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Admission to the festival is free, but some events require tickets. There are still some tickets available for the Seniors Lunch tomorrow (Friday), Hope & Heroes Day and the Holiday Barn Burner on Saturday.

Family Fun Day is set for Sunday.

Also out at Evergreen Park, the Northern Spirit Light Show is open Thursday through Sunday for the holiday season.

Hours are 6-9 p.m. for wagon rides and 6-10 p.m. for vehicles. Wagons are $5 per person, while the cost per vehicle is $15.
