Saddle Hills County names 2025 Farm Family

The family that owns the Burnt River Ranch near Woking has been named the 2025 Farm Family by Saddle Hills County.

Cole and Britney Jacob started their operation in 2018. They and their two kids, Stella and Beau, have cattle, pigs, chickens, ducks, and horses. The farm produces things like grass-fed pork and poultry, and free-range eggs.

They also volunteer with the fire department, Woking Multiplex, and 4-H.

A post on the Saddle Hills County website says this family “used their grit and determination as motivation as they battled for many hours to make the farm what it is today.”
