Cram-a-Cruiser campaign collects 4,575 lbs of non-perishable items for Grande Prairie Salvation Army Food Bank

Grande Prairie RCMP and the Grande Prairie Police Service’s annual holiday fundraiser took place this past weekend.

The Cram a Cruiser event saw the Grande Prairie community work to fill multiple police cars with non-perishable food and hygiene products and raise funds for the local food bank.

A total of $2,700 was raised for the Salvation Army Food Bank, and approximately 4,575 lbs of non-perishable food, baby, and hygiene items were collected, enough to fill eight police cars.

Police are thanking the volunteers and donors who come out to support the event.
