Fort St. John RCMP makes arrests in drug trafficking investigation

A search of a residence at a Fort St. John mobile home park has resulted in multiple arrests in a drug investigation.

A search warrant was executed Nov. 21 by the Fort St. John RCMP Street Enforcement Team, with assistance by the Serious Crimes Unit and Frontline Officers, resulting in the arrest of eight individuals.

Mounties say they subsequently seized a loaded pistol, drugs, and thousands of dollars worth of tools believed to have been stolen from the Fort St. John area.

According to police, one woman who was arrested is being held in custody for violating her court conditions, whereas the other individuals have been released while the investigation is ongoing.
