Peace Country teams busy at high school volleyball provincials

St. Joe’s is hosting the 3A girls high school volleyball championship Thursday through Saturday, while Peace Wapiti Academy is hosting the 3A boys at the same time

St. Joe’s, Beaverlodge Regional High School, and the Peace Wapiti Academy Titans are among the dozen teams taking part on the girls’ side, while the Titans and Beaverlodge Regional High School are the teams from the Peace on the boys’ side.

Girls’ games are being played in the St. Joe’s and Charles Spencer High School gyms. The gyms at PWA and St. John Paul II are hosting the boys’ games.

Both teams from the Comp. are at the 4A provincials in Fort McMurray

Fairview’s St. Thomas More is at 1A boys in Calgary, while Fairview Jr./Sr. High School is at the 2A girls in Sedgewick.

Manning is hosting the 1A girls. Hines Creek and Manning Aurora are both taking part.

La Crete is at the 2A boys in Three Hills.
