TELUS STORYHIVE funds documentary showcasing Numb Bum Racing in Grande Prairie

TELUS STORYHIVE has released a short documentary showcasing a fundraising campaign invented by the Grande Prairie Motorcycle Club.

In 2023, local filmmaker Darryl Haugen’s documentary Ice & Iron received $20,000 as part of TELUS STORYHIVE’s 10-year anniversary, along with 67 other content creators.

The 30-minute documentary tells the history of Numb Bum Racing in Alberta and its return to Clairmont Lake in 2024.

The race is an annual fundraiser and 24-hour bike race listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest race on ice.
