Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors under new leadership

At its annual general meeting held Thursday, the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce welcomed some new members to its board of directors and announced some award winners.

Lori Pollock will assume the role of Chair, while Jason Howrish will take on the role of Chair Elect, and Shane Mudryk will serve as Vice-Chair. Jason Anderson will serve as Past Chair.

Vacant board positions were filled by Chamber Members: Serena Green, Gagan Sangha, Jodi Schultz, Dan Stojanovic and Bruce Tattrie.

During the AGM, the Chamber also shared the recipients of its four annual awards:

• Clem E. Collins Award (Chamber Volunteerism) – Larry Gibson (MD of Greenview)
• Business Citizen of the Year – Brad Richards (Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual)
• Dan H. Minchin Award (Long-Term Member Business Achievement) – Lee’s Sheet Metal (LSM)
• Above and Beyond Award – Maskwa Medical Center

To end the meeting, the Chamber also thanked its retiring board members, Cord Spero, Danielle Hessler and Laura LaValley.
