Confirmed Measles cases at Grande Prairie restaurant

Dec 12, 2025 | 12:47 PM

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has confirmed a person infected with measles was in a restaurant in Grande Prairie.

Individuals that visited the Boston Pizza on 100 St. on Dec. 6 between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. or on Dec. 7 between 12:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. may have been exposed.

Anyone potentially exposed and who has had fewer than two doses of the measles vaccine may be at risk of infection and should monitor for symptoms like a fever of 38.3 degrees Celsius or higher, a cough, and a rash.

If symptoms do develop, individuals should stay at home and call the measles hotline before visiting any healthcare provider.

Pregnant individuals, children under 5, and those with weakened immune systems are at higher risk.
