Grande Prairie RCMP warn of poor road conditions

Grande Prairie RCMP are responding to multiple motor vehicle collisions across the city and rural areas due to poor road conditions.

Mounties say freezing rain and heavy snowfall have produced dangerous conditions and are asking the public to avoid all unnecessary travel.

Anyone who must drive is asked to be cautious and drive slowly on the road.

As of 8:05 p.m. RCMP are advising that chains be used for commercial vehicles traveling along Highway 43 between Bezanson and Goodwin due to icy road conditions
