Beaverlodge author releases new Christmas-Romance book

A Beaverlodge resident has released her second Christmas-themed book.

Kirsten Clark’s The Secret Ingredient follows the story of a pastry chef and the owner of his shop as they face the hardships of a holiday rush and a troubling medical diagnosis.

The Christian-Fiction Christmas Romance is a sequel to Clark’s 2024 release, A Christmas Cup of Joe, and has been published online by Pelican Book Group.

Clark lives in Beaverlodge with her husband and children and works as a teacher at Northwestern Polytechnic.

She was recently featured in Treasures Along the Fenceline, the Alberta Romance Writer’s Association’s 2025 summer anthology collection.
