Storm ride seven game win streak heading into four game road trip

The Grande Prairie Storm had a successful weekend at home, hosting the Lloydminster Bobcats.

The boys won the first game 3-2 on Friday night and again Saturday with a shutout win of 2-0.

The Storm currently sit fourth in the AJHL North Division with 31 points.

With the pair of wins, the Storm are on a seven-game win streak and start a four-game road trip on Tuesday (Dec. 16) down in Drumheller.

Storm players win silver at international event

The U.S. beat Canada West 5-1 in the gold medal game at the Junior A World Challenge in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.

Matt Lesyk, Noah Chadi and Max Leduc of the Storm were with Canada West.

Sweden beat Canada East 5-1 in the bronze medal game.
