No on-site physician at Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED evening of Dec. 18

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician tonight, Thursday, Dec. 18.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 8:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

AHS says nursing staff will remain on-site in the Emergency Department providing urgent triage and assessments, and the Virtual Emergency Physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
